Our Easter raffle was a huge success - thanks to the Parents Association for running it and to everyone who supported it.

School closure for Easter!

Girls come close in Mini Sevens!!!

Scoil Mhichil did very well in the Senior Girls Min Sevens competition at Drumhowan on Tuesday 10th March. We won all of our matches except the fiirst one against Castleblayney. They went on to qualify. There were some outstanding performances from all of the girls - especially from our County star...

This afternoon everyone had a go at céilí dancing. We were delighted to welcome Mrs. Maureen Mc Phillips who showed us the steps to "Shoe The Donkey" and "Siege of Ennis". It was great fun. Go raibh míle maith agat Maureen.

On Monday 16th March Scoil Mhichil will be going Green again for St. Patrick's Day! Children are encouraged to wear green this day. There will be a special St. Patrick's Day Assembly and a Seachtain na Gaeilge Quiz. It will be lots of fun!

Friendship Week took place from 10th - 14th February. It was great fun. All classes had lessons on what makes a good friend and how we should take care and look out for each other, especially at school. Some children bought friendship bracelets.
